“Each-Tear” by Mary J. Bilge
How Can I Say I’m Sorry?I would plead and beg your forgiveness, if only I could. Yes, I want to say I’m sorry because making up feels so good. I’d take back all the things that I said, but the words I can’t recall. I don’t know which of us was right, but I guess I’ll take the fall. Lovers should never let the sun set on an argument, people say …else hurt feelings and tears will be harder to wipe away. Must the path to true love always be tested by a river of fire? Will my lyrical poetic apology still be met with a woman’s ire? I could never forgive myself, if I lost you for what I should have said. You are my happiness and the only woman I’ve ever wanted to wed. How can I say I’m sorry… I’m sure there must be a thousand ways. A bouquet, a poem, a romantic dinner before hours turn into days. So, if I want pleasant dreams and to sleep well every night …I’d better learn one thing… it’s that the woman is always right
