The Dance - The Seduction
A final sprits of cologne and touch up the hair
thinking about The Jewel of Persia and what I should wear
As I enter the door I look around to see
If I can find you and if you can see me
So very many people and I see only you
The feelings I'm feeling must certainly be true
I walk straight ahead and ask "...dance? Por favor"
and anticipate the pleasure of what's in store
Our hands together knowingly ...and liking the touch
The rhythm of my heart, my head, salsa and you is much too much
...but our feet move smoothly with a mind of their own
and soon we are lost in that euphoria zone
Your tantalizing body gives me thoughts I dare not speak
but I couldn't resist the impulse as my lips brushed your cheek
Lost in your eyes and that devilish Latin beat
...and yes!... That stolen kiss was "Oh, so sweet!"
So many feelings..words I want to say
My heart to yours ...please stay- don't fade away
So what I wish to say I say on the floor
and when the music stops I can barely wait for more.
And when the dance is over will I return home alone
or take you in my arms with passion hotter than fire and brimstone?
